"Getting My Gold"

It is finally here
Im ready to cheer
The journey was hard
"Congratulations" it said on the card

I can't believe I am done
In the end I guess it was fun
It was very hard to do
When I started I had no clue

I had to pick a subject
that was a lasting project
I finally came up with one
I thought i would never be done

I recieved a lot of help
which made me not want to yelp
I am really going to miss Girl scouts
I made lasting friendships, that is no doubt

"What to buy?"

I am so confused
and I am really not amused.
I ususally love to shop
all day; nonstop.

But this time I have to choose the perfect one
I can't just pick one and be done.
I am having a really hard time
I really want it to be red and not lime.

I have gone to two malls just looking for it.
I have found one, but it doesnt fit.
I put it down and pick up a different one.
Maybe this could be the one.

I rush to the fitting room right away.
It is purple, but it fits. Yay!
I look into the mirror and I am in shock
It is not the color I wanted, but it is perfect. I buy it and walk.

"Writing My Research Paper"

This assignment was given to us a while ago
I knew this essay was going to blow
A charity research paper, oh wow
My cat will distract me by saying meow
Five pages as a minimum requirement 
I have to go escape in my tent
March seems like quite a while 
Phew, now I can smile
Who knew time would fly by so fast?
I need to make sure I passed
I finally finished this paper with struggle
Now I can learn how to juggle
I hope Mrs. Collentine enjoys my essay
Now it is my time to pray
I hope I get a good grade
So I can go play at the arcade 

"Gym Sports"

November 30th

Why is this a requirement?

I wish I was just absent

I hate doing anything where i can get injured

It just makes me look even more akward.

I am in gym

There are balls flying everywhere, I swear i am going to loose a limb

We are playing volleyball

I can't even hit the ball, Im such an odd ball.

I feel like I should know how to do this

But all i do is miss

Someone finally taught me how to serve properly

At first, though, I serve so badly

After a couple of tries it becomes perfect

I don't know what happened it just clicked

I am happy now

"My First Month Back"

September 30th

I started school again this month

It feels like I am walking in a labyrinth

I was not prepared for these early mornings

Someone should have gave me some warnings

I need to pay attention

I don't want to get detention

I keep on dozing off in class

I am scared I won't pass

My classes are pretty simple

Except for Pre-Calc; it gives me pimples

All the teachers are nice

Except for this one; when she stares at you, you will turn to ice

I wish it was still summer

School is really a bummer

I wish this was a dream

All I want to do is SCREAM!

"Another Halloween Ruined"

October 31st

It is Halloween tonight

There is no light

We did not have school Friday

We missed the senior Halloween holiday

Seniors, and only seniors, get to dress up

They can be anything from a chef to a wolf pup

I hope they reschedule it

It would be for their own benefit

I hope this storm ends soon

These winds are so strong they blew away the moon

I had the perfect costume

It was Minnie Mouse, but in a tomb

I lost it in the storm

The thought of that turns me very gloom

I hope next year Halloween is normal

You know, very paranormal
